GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SERVICE TERMINAL AND METHOD OF PROVIDING GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SERVICE

A geographic information service terminal and a geographic information service offering method using an Internet map are provided to connect an Internet geographic information service with a GPS(Global Positioning Service) navigation service. A wireless Internet browser receives geographic information services by connecting to a wireless Internet site. An input unit inputs a searching geographic name, and receives selection on one of geographic information services. A wireless transceiver receives geographic information corresponding to the selected service from a geographic information service server. A display unit displays web page information and the geographic information. A controller controls a wireless Internet browser, the wireless transceiver, the display unit, and the input unit.
