A color selective active polarizer and a magnetic display panel adopting the same are provided to make the mass production possible at the smaller cost as having a large area. A color selective active polarizer(10) comprises a magnetic layer(12) in which magnetic particles(13) are filled in a transparent insulating medium. In the magnetic layer, dyes or color absorbing particles(14) are mixed. If the external magnetic field is applied, the magnetic layer passes the light of the first polarization direction and reflects the light of the second polarization direction vertical to the first polarization direction. The light of the first polarization direction has the color corresponding to the dyes or color absorbing particles. |
