A method for producing the malt is provided to produce the malt massively and effectively in a narrow area by using a lightweight seedbed and a transport truck, thereby lowering cost. A method for producing the malt comprises the steps of putting the water-absorbed barley in a lightweight seedbed and loading it on a transport truck so as to germinate it; germinating glutinous rice barley to make malt; and puffing the malt by not roasting it.
