<p>A potable computer including multifunction panel unit generating input signal according to contact and a using method thereof are provided to use a key pad like a keyboard of a full size by increasing the number of key of a keyboard limited by size of a portable computer. A multifunction panel unit(110) is included on a top of a main body(100), and supports a different mode by a mode selection operation. A display part(210) is positioned in a cover(200), and displays a result by contacting the multifunction panel unit through a stylus pen(300). A mode selection part selects a mode according to a use of the multifunction panel unit. A mode setting part sets an operation environment corresponding to a mode selected in the mode selection part. A panel display part displays the operation environment set in the mode setting part. When the stylus pen or a finger is contacted, the panel display part generates input information. A control part processes the input information from the multifunction panel unit, and outputs a processed result to the display part.</p> |
