<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible heat-sensitive recording material which is excellent in coloring property, and in addition, can correspond to a high speed decoloring property under a low temperature/low humidity environment. <P>SOLUTION: For this reversible heat-sensitive recording material, a reversible heat-sensitive recording layer containing a dye precursor and a reversible color developer which make the dye precursor present a reversible tone change is installed on the supporting body. The reversible color developer is a phenol compound represented by general formula (I). (In the general formula (I), R<SB>1</SB>represents a 6-14C saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group or aromatic hydrocarbon group, R<SB>2</SB>represents a 1-10C saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group or aromatic hydrocarbon group, R<SB>3</SB>represents a 1-12C saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group or aromatic hydrocarbon group, X<SB>1</SB>represents a bivalent group containing O atom or S atom, X<SB>2</SB>represents a bivalent group containing N atom, O atom or S atom, and n is an integer of 1 or higher). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
