<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible heat-sensitive recording material which is excellent in coloring property, and in addition, can correspond to a high speed decoloring property under a low temperature/low humidity environment. <P>SOLUTION: For this reversible heat-sensitive recording material, a reversible heat-sensitive recording layer containing a dye precursor and a reversible color developer which make the dye precursor present a reversible tone change is installed on the supporting body. The reversible color developer is a phenol compound represented by general formula (I).
