<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved biocompatible liquid delivery composition which is useful for forming a slow-release delivery system of an activator. <P>SOLUTION: This composition is a liquid delivery pharmaceutical composition containing effective amounts of (a) a biocompatible and biodegradable thermoplastic polymer which is insoluble in an aqueous medium, (b) a biocompatible organic solvent which is miscible or dispersible in an aqueous medium, and (c) a controlled release component which is a controlled release component containing a pharmaceutical activator, and contains a composite of the activator and a carrier molecule, and suitable for forming a controlled release implant, and the composition forms a solid implant by dissipation or dispersion of the organic solvent into the aqueous medium when it is contacted with the aqueous medium, and the controlled release component is buried in the solid implant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
