<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cathode active substance of a poly-anion system which can enhance a ratio of a discharging capacity which can be obtained at a high-rate discharging against a discharging capacity which can be obtained at a low-rate discharging. <P>SOLUTION: The cathode active substance for a nonaqueous electrolyte battery contains primary particles which has an olivine type crystal structure and in which an Al compound exists at least in a part of a crystal grain boundary of poly-crystalline particles as shown in a chemical composition of LiFePO<SB>4</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
