<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image restoration device and method which prevent a noise from being amplified while enhancing contrast in restoring an image and increase depth without affecting determination accuracy of restored image, and to provide an information code reader. <P>SOLUTION: The image restoration device has an optical system 210 containing an optical wavefront modulation element which forms a primary image and an imaging device 220, and an image processor 230 which filters the image data by the imaging device 220. The image processor 230 has a first blur restoration function which performs filtering only by a blur restoration filter, and a second blur restoration function which performs filtering with both a blur restoration filter and an edge preservation type average filter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
