PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-hop network system capable of reducing a load on a root node. SOLUTION: When an excessive load is applied to a root node 3-7, the numbers of hops from respective nodes 3-1 to 3-6 to the root node 3-7 are acquired, and specified nodes are selected on the basis of the acquired numbers of hops. Then, the total number of hops from the respective selected specified nodes to the other nodes is calculated to determine a new root node 3-2. Each node compares the number of hops to the new root node 3-2 with the number of hops to the previous root node 3-7 to connect to either of the root nodes. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
