PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core for reactor which can reduce the leakage flux. SOLUTION: An annular core 1 is formed by integrating a pair of coil arranging portions 11 covered with a coil C constituting a reactor, and a pair of exposed portions 12 not covered with the coil C not through a gap wherein a closed magnetic path passing through the core 1 is formed by exciting the coil C. The exposed portion 12 is arranged to have a relative permeability higher than that of the coil arranging portion 11. Since the exposed portion 12 has a high relative permeability, leakage flux can be reduced in the space between one coil arranging portion 11a and the other coil arranging portion 11b. Furthermore, such problems as noise incident to existence of a gap are hard to occur because the core 1 has a gapless structure. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
