PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand or the like for a thin display device which is required to achieve miniaturization of a packing case. SOLUTION: The cover part 21 of the stand SD includes first projecting plates 31, and second projecting plates 41 projecting from the base of an outer wall 24 separated from the root of the first projecting plates 31 and also having plate apertures 42 covered with the first projecting plates 31. The pedestal part 61 of the stand SD includes a first opening port 72 wider than the periphery of the base of the outer wall 24 including the second projecting plates 41, an open space part 76 that is space for rotating the cover part 21 to be settled in the first opening port 72 with the center of the periphery of the base of the outer wall 24 as reference, and an inner edge piece 81 that is the edge of the open space part 76 fit in a gap D between the first projecting plates 31 and the second projecting plates 41 at the rotating cover part 21.
