摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve detection accuracy in a torque detection system. SOLUTION: Oscillation-wave count processing is performed to count a plurality of oscillation waves outputted from a first oscillation circuit 2 and determine whether their counted number has reached a prescribed number N or not. Changes in magnetic permeability in a first direction are detected on the basis of the time required for the oscillation-wave count processing. Then oscillation-wave count processing is performed to count a plurality of oscillation waves outputted from a second oscillation circuit 3 and determine whether their counted number has reached the prescribed number N or not. Changes in magnetic permeability in a second direction are detected on the basis of the time required for the oscillation-wave count processing. When the torque of a rotating shaft S is to be detected on the basis of the difference between the magnetic permeability in the first direction and the magnetic permeability in the second direction, the counted number N is altered according to the rotational speed (the number of rotations) of the rotating shaft S.
