PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support 10 for a temple device, which hardly changes the degree of parallelization with time in a pile loom 1 for moving a pair of right and left temple devices 2 in the longitudinal direction of a warp 3 and forming a woven fabric 5 of pile texture in the period of pile weaving. SOLUTION: A slide bar 9 in th weaving width direction is supported by a plurality of support bases 7, mobile bodies 8 movably attached to each of the support bases 7 are received in the longitudinal direction of the warp 3 and in a rollable and movable state by four rotary wheels 14a, 14b, 14c and 14d. Oscillation control means (a moving side member 15, a stationary side member 16) in the weft direction are installed between the mobile bodies 8 and a guide base 19 integrated with the slide bar 9.
