The invention discloses a fruit separation assembly having a frame with at least one clamp removably attached to the frame, wherein each clamp is adapted to support a fruit bearing stalk from the frame. The frame is joined to agitation means, during use being adapted to vibrate the frame in a linear substantially vertical direction so as to cause the fruit to separate from the stalk.
