<p>The present invention relates to systems and methods for forming images in surfaces, and to surfaces. In particular, the present invention provides systems and methods for forming images in decorative surface materials, and decorative surface materials containing an image with novel optical density characteristics. In some embodiments a liquid acrylic resin is applied to a surface prior to image transfer. In some embodiments, a primer is applied to a surface material prior to forming images in the surface, with or without combined application of a liquid acrylic resin.</p> |
