METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR UPDATING THE STATE OF A COMPUTING DEVICE

A method for updating state of computing device capable of omitting data transmission of much amount and an apparatus thereof are provided to perform update of a computing device by receiving a message including a data for requesting at least one update file to at least one remote computing entity. A method for updating state of computing device capable of omitting data transmission of much amount comprises the following steps: a step for receiving a command updating a state of a computing device(310); a step for processing the command in a processor(315); a step for transmitting a request about a software update file to a remote entity capable of searching the software update file(320); a step for receiving the software update file from the remote entity(330); a step for updating a file remained in the computing device with at least one software update file in order to generate an updated file(340); and a step for replacing a native code related to at least one file remained in the computing device with an updated native code related to the updated file(350).
