<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive image forming apparatus which has excellent operability and can print on both sides of a sheet. <P>SOLUTION: In an image forming device which can attach and detach a process cartridge, there are double side transfer guides and a cover opening or closing around a supporting point.
