<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control printing not to superimpose print data on an unplottable area by an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a paper sheet information acquisition means 101 for reading prescribed information on a paper sheet for printing to be a printing object; a print area analysis means 102 for analyzing a plottable area and/or unplottable area, based on the read prescribed information; a print image generating means 103 for generating a print image by interpreting a plotting instruction; and a preview means 104 for displaying the print image together with the plottable area and/or unplottable area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
