<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video-image display of projection type capable of fixing the polarizer plate attachably/detachably inhibited in deformation due to generation of deformation of the polarizer plate. <P>SOLUTION: A polarizer holder 20 is provided with an outer frame 21 and support claws 23 which projects toward inner circumference from the outer frame 21, wherein the inner circumference of the outer frame 21 is made larger than the outer circumference of the polarizer 9. The support claws 23 are projected from the surface and rear-face of outer frame respectively. The polarizer is loosely fitted by outer frame 21, and supported in the inner circumference of the outer frame 21 of the polarizer holder 20 by the support claws 23 projecting from the surface and rear-face, while the polarizer 9 is supported with play in up-and-down and left and right directions. Since the distance in a direction perpendicular to the polarizer 9 between the surface opposite to the polarizer 9 of the support claws 23 projecting from the surface and the surface opposite to the polarizer 9 of the support claws 23 projecting from the rear-face is larger than the thickness of the polarizer 9, the polarizer 9 is supported with play in the thickness direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
