<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinged lid that makes it possible to close a lid satisfactorily and to open/close the lid smoothly without causing a side wall to be caught by the container opening when a hinged lid kept in an opened condition is opened or closed. <P>SOLUTION: The hinged lid has an engagement portion formed so that when an opening/closing portion is opened, the ends of the side wall on the side of the opening/closing portion formed by a side wall separating portion engage with the open edge of the container. The end of the engagement portion has an engagement edge having a specific length from the upper edge of the end of the engagement portion and capable of being engaged with the open edge of the container with the opening/closing portion kept open, and a non-engagement edge located below the engagement edge and extending toward the opening/closing portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
