<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging apparatus for expanding a package end when packaging and for welding/fusion-cutting a folded end for easy boxing. <P>SOLUTION: The packaging apparatus includes a recess to which the top face, the front face and both side faces of a packaged item are fitted through a tubular airtight film, and a cut-off part for avoiding an edge welded part of the front end welded part in the moving direction of the film covering the packaged item.
