NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERY AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery hardly generating foreign substances in manufacturing processes. SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is provided with: one electrode equipped with a plurality of strip tabs 11 for electricity conduction at one end, and the other electrode; a spiral-shaped electrode group 4 formed by spirally winding a separator pinched between these electrodes, and a battery container 7 housing the electrode group. The battery is also provided with: a ring-shaped bottom part 7a formed by inwardly bending one end of the battery container; and a lower lid 12 for closing a side where the ring-shaped bottom part 7a of the battery container is formed. The strip tabs are fixed by welding the ring-shaped bottom part 7a formed at the battery container and the lower lid 12 in a state of the tabs being pinched between the ring-shaped bottom part and the lower lid.
