PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent the deterioration of head positioning accuracy during a following control even when a signal detected by an acceleration sensor includes parallel external vibrations, external noise or SN noise of the sensor itself. SOLUTION: A rotation external disturbance compensation control unit 54 adds a compensation signal to a positioning control unit 50 so as to cancel rotation external disturbance vibration components detected by using acceleration sensors 56-1 to 56-2. A position error detection unit 60 detects respective position errors when the rotation external disturbance compensation control unit 54 is turned ON and OFF. A compensation control switching unit 62 switches the rotation external disturbance compensation control unit 54 to an ON state if a position error is small when rotation external disturbance compensation control is ON, and the compensation control switching unit 62 is switched to an OFF state if a position error is small when rotation external disturbance compensation control is OFF.
