摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blade driving device for an optical instrument which is configured so that four blades may continuously change the shape of an optical path aperture, while always keeping a similar figure, centering on an optical axis. SOLUTION: Four output pins 11a, 11b, 11c and 11d of a rotor 11 are fitted into the oblong holes 5d, 6c, 7d and 8c of the blades 5, 6, 7 and 8. The guide pin 1g of four guide pins 1g, 1h, 1i and 1j provided in a base plate 1 is fitted into the oblong holes 5b, 6b and 7b of the blades 5, 6 and 7, the guide pin 1h is fitted into the oblong hole 6b of the blade 6 and the guide pin 1i is fitted into the oblong holes 5c, 7c and 8b of the blades 5, 7 and 8. The guide pin 1j is fitted into the oblong hole 8b of the blade 8. Therefore, when the rotor 11 is reciprocately rotated, the blades 5, 6, 7 and 8 continuously change the size of an aperture formed in cooperation with the aperture forming edges 5a, 6a, 7a and 8a of the blades 5, 6, 7 and 8, in a regular octagon state.
