PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blur correcting device for suppressing power consumption and to provide an optical device having the blur correcting device. SOLUTION: The blur correcting device has: a sensor 1c to detect an object close to a finder 1b of a photographic device; a lock mechanism 2h which locks blur correcting mechanisms 40 and 41 correcting an image blur due to the shake of the photographic device 1; and a control section 2c which controls the lock mechanism 2h by using the output of the sensor 1c.
