PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat-head-bolt-equipped metal fitting securing a flat head bolt and a plate-like metal fitting part in a preferably sealed state without depending on resistance welding to thereby solve the problems caused by the resistance welding. SOLUTION: In the flat-head-bolt-equipped metal fitting 10, the flat head bolt 14 is a bolt with serrations. The flat head bolt 14 is secured to the plate-like metal fitting part 12 by causing the serrations 24 to bite into the inner surface of a fixing hole 30. A corner portion around the fixing hole 30 of the plate-like metal fitting part 12 is plastically deformed by being pressed by the outer circumference tapered surface 20 of the flat head bolt 14 in conformity with the shape of the outer circumference tapered surface 20 so as to form a tapered surface 36. The tapered surface 36 and the outer circumference tapered surface 20 are made in close contact with each other over the whole peripheries while being pressed against each other, thereby sealing a gap between the flat head bolt 14 and the plate-like metal fitting part 12.
