PLASMA IGNITION SYSTEM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition system easy to install and excelling in an effect of preventing leakage of electromagnetic wave noise. SOLUTION: The plasma ignition system 1 includes an ignition plug 10 attached to an internal combustion engine and having a discharge space 140 formed between a center electrode 110 and an earth electrode 130, electric power sources 30, 40, a discharge power source circuit 300, and a plasma generation power source circuit 400. In the ignition system, at least a resistance element 37 and a rectifier element 43 for rectifying plasma current are placed in an element receiving portion 2 provided near a center electrode terminal part 111 as close as possible in a plug hole 52, and distances L1, L2between the resistance element 37 and the rectifier element 43, and the center electrode terminal part are made as short as possible, for instance equal to or smaller than 30 cm, so that transmission of the electromagnetic wave noise can be effectively inhibited.
