PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel saving drive evaluation system and evaluation method for a vehicle relaxing inhibition of acceleration at the start, enabling drive adapted to traffic flow at a spot, and not causing stress for a driver. SOLUTION: This system includes an engine rotation speed measuring means 2, an accelerator opening measuring means 3, a vehicle speed measuring means 4, a fuel flow rate measuring means 5, an analysis and advice conveyance means 6, a storage means 7 and a process-analysis means 10. The analysis and advice conveyance means 6 evaluates flow of traffic on the spot during start acceleration, and gives advice relating to start acceleration and drive evaluation to permit acceleration appropriate to the flow.
