PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor high in reliability and efficiency, by equally preventing uneven contact of a crankshaft in a main bearing part in all of directions of the main bearing part. SOLUTION: An annular thin part 16 is formed to an outer periphery of a rotary scroll side end part 14 of the main bearing part 4. In the thin part 16, the portion in a direction having a maximum load force acting on the main bearing 4 is the thinnest. During a rotation of the crankshaft 3, an elastic deformation amount of the main bearing part 4 is the maximum, in a the direction of the maximum load force acting on the main bearing 4, and the uneven contact with the crankshaft 3 is equally prevented in all of the directions of the main bearing, so that the oil film thickness of fluid lubrication is uniformly maintained to improve reliability and efficiency.
