PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of wrinkles in which is a label generated due to an influence of air bubbles after pasted by pressing the label so that the air bubbles generated between the label and a product when label is pasted can be pushed out and discharged, thereby improving the pasting quality of the label. SOLUTION: A labelling apparatus pastes the label L onto the product W, which is conveyed by a conveyor, in the process of conveying the product W. The labelling apparatus includes sucking plate 1 and a pressing member 10. The sucking plate 1 sucks the label L sent from a label sending part while causing the front end part La of the label L to project. The pressing member 10 is provided at the front end part of the sucking plate 1, is opposed to the front end part La of the label L sucked by the sucking plate 1, and presses the front end part La of the label L against the product W by inclining the sucking plate 1. The pressing member 10 includes a resin-made block body 11 which is fixed to the sucking plate 1 and brought into sliding contact with the product W via the label L upon pressing of the label L. A sliding contact part 14 which is brought into sliding contact with the product W via the label L of the block body 11 is formed to have a cross-section of a rectangular shape.
