A method for analyzing a material containing a polybromodiphenyl ether (PBDE)-based flame retardant is provided to check whether PBDE-based flame retardant is contained in various parts or not easily and rapidly. A method for analyzing a material containing a PBDE-based flame retardant comprises the steps of pulverizing a solid sample containing a PBDE-based flame retardant; dissolving and extracting the PBDE-based flame retardant; filtering and purifying the obtained extract by using a solid phase extraction (SPE) cartridge; and checking whether PBDE-based flame retardant exists or not by thin film chromatography (TLC). |
