A video noise removal apparatus and a removal method thereof, and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device having the same are provided to efficiently cancel the noise of a video. A plane/non-planar region divider divides a plane region and a non-planar region according to a region in which the pixel data of an input video is positioned. First filtering units(104,112) cancel the noise of pixel data included in the plane region divided from the plane/non-planar region divider. A pattern value operation unit(106) produces a pattern value which is the square of the difference of pixel data. A second filtering unit cancels the noise of pixel data included in the non-planar region by using a plurality of pixel data extracted from a similar pattern extractor.
