A method for transmitting a message to abroad for transmitting a transformed image file through internet for converting the message into the image file and an apparatus therefor are provided to convert the message into the image file and translate the message into the language of the receiving station. A receiving part receives a message which is generated by using the mobile communications terminal or the internet service(S810). A transmission availability determining unit determines the language comprising the received message in the received side mobile terminal(S820). A translation module of translation determines whether to translate the message received from the receiving part(S830). The image file transform unit converts the message of the text base into the image file(S850). The transformed image file is converted to the file format for the internet network(S860). The transmission unit of the oversea message transmitter transmits the transformed message through the internet network(S870).
