<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic booster stably obtaining increased hysteresis. <P>SOLUTION: Thrust applying to a piston 42 in operation and in return of a brake pedal is increased in response to a cross sectional area of a second regulation part 46 of the piston 42 and a difference of a cross sectional area between the piston 42 and a ring 48. With this structure, hysteresis in return of the brake pedal is increased relative to hysteresis in operation of the brake pedal by an increase of the thrust applying to the piston 42. Since it is unnecessary to raise hardness of a reaction disk 12 in order to increase hysteresis, increased hysteresis is stably obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
