PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic liquid detector of low power consumption for determining simply in a short time whether liquid exists or not. SOLUTION: This liquid detector 1 transmits an ultrasonic wave to a measured system by an ultrasonic wave transmission part 2 while changing its frequency to any of a plurality of set values and is used to determine whether liquid exists or not in a container at a measurement position based on a set of measurement results of received amplitudes at respective frequencies.
