<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for inspecting content stored in a programmable ROM, which inspects the validity of ROM data while preventing the ROM data from being read from the outside. <P>SOLUTION: Inspection data previously stored in a data storage part 22 is supplied from a ROM writer 2 to a one-chip CPU 1 with a built-in ROM 11 containing a program which cannot be read to the outside. The inspection data and the ROM data read from the ROM 11 are verified by a comparing circuit 15. A verified result is held as a Q output of a flip flop 19 for holding the verified result. After an address counter circuit 18 which generates the read address of the ROM data and supplies it to the ROM 11 counts up to the final address and verification of all the data in the ROM 11 is completed, a verification signal is inputted to the ROM writer 2 to know whether the ROM data is coincident with the inspection data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
