PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens holding device to which a lens holder (lens barrel) is fixed by a simple configuration without causing dripping of the adhesive during the adhesion, wherein efficient workability and sufficient adhesive strength are ensured. SOLUTION: An annular recessed groove is formed in the periphery of the lens holder. In the recessed groove, a member having an inside diameter securing an optical axis adjustment area in the lens holder and for forming a narrow passage relative to the internal circumference of the holding member, is positioned to prevent dripping of the adhesive.
