PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cowl structure for a vehicle, capable of preventing or effectively suppressing vibrations of a wind shield glass, and efficiently absorbing the energy of a collision load by efficiently generating deformation due to the collision load. SOLUTION: A rear wall portion 102 of a cowl outer 90 is set between a virtual line L1 wherein a direction from a curved portion 100 on the wind shield glass 18 side to a curved portion 104 on a cowl inner 50 side turns in an opposite direction of an orientation of a surface of the window shield glass 18, and passing through the curved portion 100; and a virtual line L2 turning in the same direction as the collision load generated when an impactor (a collision element) 106 is collided on a surface of the wind shield glass 18, and passing through the curved portion 100. Therefore, the collision load is efficiently transmitted to the cowl inner 50 to induce the deformation of the cowl inner 50, and the supporting stiffness of the wind shield glass 18 is improved.
