PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band saw machine capable of suppressing band saw vibration during cutting without being influenced by the size or material of a cutting object and sufficiently reducing cutting noise. SOLUTION: In the band saw machine, a guide means 40 is arranged between a cutting region M and a drive wheel 27, and a guide means 41 is arranged between the cutting region M and a driven wheel 28. The guide means 40, 41 are equipped with a first guide member 51 for holding a cutting attitude on a cutting region side, a second guide member 52 on the opposite side of the cutting region side rather than the first guide member 51, and a third guide member 53 on the opposite side of the cutting region side rather than the second guide member 52. The second guide member 52 and the third guide member 53 are disposed in the middle of a twist between a wrapped attitude and a cutting attitude of an endless band saw. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
