A LED street lamp comprises an overall control circuit (7), a solar power battery (1), an accumulator (2), a LED lamp (3), an ambient brightness control circuit (41) and a moving object control circuit (51). The solar power battery (1), the accumulator (2), the LED lamp (3), the ambient brightness control circuit (41) and the moving object control circuit (51) are electrically connected to the overall control circuit (7) respectively. The ambient brightness control circuit (41) is electrically connected to an ambient brightness detector (4). The moving object control circuit (51) is electrically connected to a moving object detector (5). An overvoltage protection circuit (61), an overcurrent protection circuit (62) and a thunderstroke protection circuit (63) may also be electrically connected to the overall control circuit (7).
