<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving controller for a vibration type motor device, which previously determines the proper replacement time of the vibration type motor device. <P>SOLUTION: The driving controller drives and controls the vibration type motor device which excites vibrations by applying a driving signal to an electro-mechanical energy conversion element section arranged to an elastic body and relatively friction-driving the elastic body and a contact body brought into contact with the elastic body. The driving controller has a control circuit as a decision means for permitting or prohibiting the continuous operation of the vibration type motor device on the basis of the vibrating state of the electro-mechanical energy conversion element section detected by a vibration detecting element s1 and the operating state of the vibration type motor device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
