<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a variable displacement hydraulic pump motor type transmission, enabling to actualize smooth sudden shift without discomfortable sense even when involving synchro change-over operation. <P>SOLUTION: The control device is provided for the variable displacement fluid pressure pump motor type transmission which has two power transmission passages for setting a plurality of gear ratios between a power source and an output member, and a variable displacement fluid pressure pump motor communicating with pressure fluid in a mutually giving and receiving manner. It comprises a relief valve for reducing torque on the power transmission passages, and change-over side torque reducing means (Steps S3, S4) for controlling relief means to reduce the transmission torque of the power transmission passages on the side of change-over when executing shift involving the change-over of a change-over mechanism. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
