<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device which can adjust the height and the angle of a screen according to an observer's height or variety of uses thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The image display device comprises: an external camera 13; projectors 20 and 21; a reflecting mirror 4; a hemisphere dome type screen 5; an image signal processor which performs a distortion correction; and a base 6 for supporting the projectors 20 and 21, the reflecting mirror 4 and the screen 5. The image display device is configured in such a manner that the observer can perform various works while observing the image taken by the external camera 13 on the screen 5. The projectors, the reflecting mirror and the screen are assembled in one to constitute a single moving unit 7 that is rotatable with respect to the base 6 around aγ-axis which is formed in the nearly diametrical direction of the image screen 5 along the vertical direction.
