PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle-use travel support system capable of informing a driver as to whether he/she should avoid a traffic congestion or follow the backmost vehicle. SOLUTION: When a congestion line 29 of vehicles to be turned right extends from a right-turn shunt lane 30 to a straight through lane 32 at an intersection, congestion information is transmitted from a vehicle-to-vehicle communication device of an in-vehicle navigation system of the backmost vehicle 31 to a vehicle 33 traveling posteriorly. The congestion information includes a position of the head vehicle of the congestion vehicle line 29 and a position and a traveling direction of the backmost vehicle 31. An in-vehicle navigation system of the traveling vehicle 33 receiving the congestion information determines that the position of the own vehicle 33 is on the lane 32 occupied with the congestion vehicle line 29, by using a position detector, and indicates to the driver to avoid the congestion vehicle line 29 by changing its traveling lane, when the traveling direction of the own vehicle 33 is the straight direction at the intersection.
