PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder capable of preventing sedimentation by circulating ink by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: An ink feeding mechanism is equipped with an ink storing part 31, a sub-tank 32 for temporarily storing the ink, a vacuum pipe 44 for reducing the pressure in this sub-tank 32 to a definite pressure, an ink force-feeding passage 41 for connecting the ink storing part 31 with the sub-tank 32, a first on-off valve 35 arranged in this ink force feeding passage 41, a communicating path 43 for connecting the sub-tank 32 with the inkjet head 10, an ink circulation passage 42 for connecting this communicating path 43 with the ink storing part 31, and a second on-off valve 34 arranged in this ink circulation passage 42. On a lid member 51 constituting a chamber, a pressure adjusting pipe 45 connected with a press-sending pipe 46 arranged with a force feeding pump 37, and an exhausting pipe 47 arranged with an exhausting pump 38.
