PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a high definition moving image even when frame rate conversion of a low frame rate moving image is performed. SOLUTION: A vector similarity calculation part 5 calculates vector similarity of a motion vector on the basis of motion vector information calculated by a motion vector information calculation part 3. An interpolation frame image display timing adjustment part 6 determines display starting time of the interpolation frame image from intermediate time between display starting time of the current frame image and display starting time of the next frame image to the display starting time of the next frame image to adjust display time of an interpolation frame image when the vector similarity is a value out of a predetermined range.
