PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device which can replace a battery without stopping driving by a lightweight simple constitution, and to provide a medical treatment apparatus. SOLUTION: The power supply device 100 has a casing 6 loaded with a first battery B1 and a second battery B1, electrode pairs 91 and 92 electrically connected to the terminal pairs B12 and B22 of the first battery B1 and/or the second battery B1 mounted in the casing 6 and a receiving circuit operated by feeding power from the first or second battery B1 mounted in the casing 6 through the electrode pairs 91 and 92 to receive the radio signal transmitted from a transmitter. The casing 6 is constituted so that the first battery B1 is mounted, the second battery B1 is inserted in a state that the terminal pair B12 of the first battery B1 is electrically connected to the electrode pair 91 and the first battery B1 is taken out while keeping a state that the terminal pair B12 of the second battery B1 is electrically connected to the electrode pair 92.
