PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deviation of condensation-stitch pitches. SOLUTION: This sewing machine 1 includes: a feed mechanism for feeding an object to be sewn by a feed dog retractably appearing on a needle plate and executing a horizontal feed operation; a feed adjusting body for adjusting the feed pitch of the feed dog in the horizontal direction; a changeover mechanism 63 changing over the feeding direction of the object to be sewn by the feed mechanism between the normal and inverse direction; and a drive unit 60 having a reciprocating drive part 61 connected to the changeover mechanism and a body part 62 retractably storing the drive part, and changing over the feed direction of the workpiece by the operation of the drive part. This sewing machine 1 further includes a movement regulation member 70 for regulating the moving distance of the drive part by abutting on the drive part 61 or the changeover mechanism, wherein the movement regulation member is provided in a sewing machine frame F to slidably adjust the attachment position in a direction crossing the reciprocating direction of the drive part, and the movement regulation member is formed to change the moving distance of the drive part regulated by the attachment position.
