PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid fraudulent winnings, and at the same time, to alleviate the limits in the arrangements of symbols, or the stopping controls of rotary reels, and to increase the arrangements of symbols and the variations in symbol appearances, and thus, to raise the game property. SOLUTION: This game machine is equipped with a line validating means 150, a winning combination lottery means 110, and a stoppage controlling means 130. In this case, the line validating means 150 validates a winning combination line 300 into a validation line. The winning combination lottery means 110 performs a lottery for deciding a winning or a losing. The stoppage controlling means 130 stops rotary reels 45 in such a manner that when the winning is decided by the winning combination lottery means 110, a winning symbol arrangement corresponding to the won winning combination can be arranged on either one of validation lines, and when the losing is decided by the winning combination lottery means 110, no winning combination symbol arrangement may be arranged on any validation line. For the symbol arrangement of each rotary reel, the winning combination symbol arrangement corresponding to a winning combination which has not been decided by the winning combination lottery means 110 can be arranged on either one of validation lines. The game machine is also equipped with a line changing means 160 which changes validation lines in such a manner that a winning symbol arrangement corresponding to a winning combination which has not been decided by the winning combination lottery means 110 may not be arranged on either one of validation lines.
