A home rice-polishing machine is provided to peel hulls from the rice or unpolished rice without damaging rice or unpolished rice, and to minimize the generation of noise and dust by forming a curved surface on a part of the rice-polishing machine brought into contact with the rice or unpolished rice during the rice polishing operation. In a rice-polishing machine comprising: a case(10); a housing(20) which is installed within the case, and which has a hopper(21) such that rice is injected into the hopper; a rice-polishing case(30) combined with one side of the housing; a rice-polishing shaft rotatably installed within the housing and rice-polishing case to peel the hulls of rice by transferring rice; and a drive motor(50) combined with the other side of the housing to transmit rotary power to the rice-polishing shaft, a home rice-polishing machine is characterized in that the rice-polishing shaft includes a screw(41) transferring rice, a rice-polishing rod(42) extending in the longitudinal direction of the screw, and a plurality of vanes(43) which are installed on an outer peripheral surface of the rice-polishing rod, and which have curved surfaces formed on rice-contacting parts thereof, one side of the rice-polishing shaft is fixed between the rice-polishing case and housing while the other side of the rice-polishing shaft is joined with an inner peripheral surface of the rice-polishing case, and the rice-polishing machine further comprises a rice bran discharge part(60) having a plurality of slots(61) formed therein to discharge the hulls of the rice peeled by the vanes of the rice-polishing shaft. |
